The video door entry panel is installed outside the premises and is commonly referred to as the outdoor unit. It allows visitors to call building staff and also provides secure door-opening functionality via its integrated relay outputs. This model includes two relay outputs, capable of managing up to two doors simultaneously, and features a 12 VDC output for directly powering electronic locks without the need for an additional power source, as the unit itself operates via standard PoE.
The panel also incorporates advanced access control, supporting multiple identification methods: RFID cards or key fobs (EM 125 kHz and MIFARE 13.56 MHz), Bluetooth, QR code scanning, numeric PIN codes via the keypad, and biometric facial recognition. Temporary PIN and QR codes can be generated via the SmartPlus mobile application, enabling time-limited access.
As an IP-based device, it communicates and is powered through Ethernet with PoE switches, reducing cabling requirements. The 4" touchscreen provides a user directory for call selection and allows PIN code entry for access.
Built for durability, the device is rated IP65 for weather resistance and IK10 for maximum anti-vandal protection, ensuring reliability in even the most demanding environments.
