A stand-alone access control device combines both a controller and a reader in a single unit. It identifies users, verifies their access rights, and operates the electronic lock through its built-in relay.
The device supports multiple identification methods, including RFID cards or key fobs (EM 125 kHz and MIFARE 13.56 MHz), NFC, Bluetooth, QR code scanning, and numeric PIN codes via the keypad. Temporary PINs and QR codes can also be generated through the SmartPlus mobile application to provide limited-time access.
Advanced configurable features include anti-passback technology, which prevents a user from re-entering if they are already inside.
With an IP65 weatherproof rating, the device is suitable for outdoor installations. Its IK09 anti-vandalism rating further ensures durability and resistance in the most demanding environments.
Through the Akuvox Cloud, administrators can configure users, schedules, and access groups, as well as manage advanced settings such as relay activation times and reader response durations.
