A stand-alone access control device combines both a controller and a reader in a single unit. It identifies users, verifies their access permissions, and operates the electronic lock through its built-in relay.
The device supports multiple identification methods, including MIFARE cards or key fobs (13.56 MHz), NFC, Bluetooth, QR code scanning, and biometric facial recognition. Temporary QR codes can also be generated through the SmartPlus mobile application to provide limited-time access.
With an IP65 weatherproof rating, the unit is suitable for outdoor installations.
Through the Akuvox Cloud, administrators can configure users, schedules, and access groups, as well as manage advanced settings such as relay activation times and reader response durations.
