A stand-alone access control device combines both a controller and a reader in a single unit. It identifies users, verifies their access rights, and operates the electronic lock through its built-in relay.
The device supports multiple identification methods, including RFID cards or key fobs (EM 125 kHz and MIFARE 13.56 MHz), NFC, and Bluetooth.
Advanced configurable features include anti-passback technology (preventing a user from re-entering if they are already inside) and a 12 VDC output, which enables direct power supply to the electronic lock without requiring an additional power source, as the device itself is powered via standard PoE.
With an IP65 weatherproof rating, the device is suitable for outdoor installations. Its IK07 anti-vandalism rating further ensures resistance and reliability in challenging environments.
Through the Akuvox Cloud, administrators can configure users, schedules, and access groups, as well as manage advanced settings such as relay activation times and reader response durations.
