The video door entry panel is installed on the exterior of a building and is commonly referred to as the outdoor unit. It enables visitors to make calls to building staff and provides secure door-opening functionality via its integrated relay outputs. This model features three relay outputs, allowing control of up to three doors simultaneously, and includes a 12 VDC output to directly power electronic locks without the need for an additional power supply, as the device operates via standard PoE.
The panel integrates advanced access control, supporting multiple authentication methods: RFID cards or key fobs (EM 125 kHz and MIFARE 13.56 MHz), Bluetooth, QR code scanning, numeric PIN codes, and biometric facial recognition. Temporary PINs and QR codes can also be generated through the SmartPlus mobile application, enabling limited-time access.
As an IP-based device, it communicates and is powered through Ethernet with PoE switches, reducing installation cabling. Its 8" touchscreen displays the user directory for call selection and allows PIN code entry for access.
The unit is designed for durability with an IP65 weatherproof rating for outdoor installation and an IK10 anti-vandalism rating for maximum physical protection in demanding environments.
Advanced functions include:
