The video door entry monitor is installed inside the premises and is commonly referred to as the indoor unit. It allows building staff or residents to receive calls from visitors at the outdoor panel.
As an IP-based device, it communicates and is powered via Ethernet with PoE switches, reducing the cabling required for installation.
Advanced features include support for the SIP 2.0 protocol, enabling seamless integration with third-party PBX telephone systems.
With the Akuvox Installer Cloud, system structures can be created, and devices added by their MAC address. The platform allows remote firmware updates, modification of local settings (such as network parameters, audio levels, or relay configurations), and monitoring of device connection status. Thanks to Multisite technology, devices can communicate securely across locations without the need for port forwarding or VPNs.
For administrators, the Property Manager Cloud provides centralized control of community or office projects. It enables credential management (key fobs, PIN codes), access log review, and the ability to send notifications or messages directly to users.
